The SummitTop-of-the-line units at Massanutten, Summit units are rated Gold Crown by RCI. Summit units are four-bedroom units sleeping 12. The unit has 4 bathrooms, a Full Kitchen, 2 Fireplaces, and 2 Whirlpool Tubs. Summits were built in the townhouse style and have nice views of the slopes and Mountain Greens Golf Course. Some of are very close to the ski slopes. These units check in on Friday. There are over a hundred activities each week with something for everyone - crafts, scuba classes, couples massage class, dance classes, yoga, aerobics, cooking demonstrations, candle making and many many more.Snow Sports Massanutten is one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier snow resorts with over 2 million skiers and snowboarders having experienced the joy of sliding on our snow. No longer just a "ski" area, Massanutten welcomes snowboarding and snow tubing. The Ski Lodge at Massanutten is the center of snow recreation, housing the Snow Sport Learning Center, Slope Sliders, the Patrol, a Cafeteria, Encounters Lounge and several seasons of Activities. The Lodge offers two dining options on its second level--quick counter service at the Ski Lodge Cafeteria and full bar service at Encounters Lounge. Encounters has a DJ or live music every night during ski season. The Kettle Club, on the second floor, is a private area reserved for Massanutten Owners. It has easy access to both the Ski Lodge Cafeteria and Encounters. The third level mezzanine of the Ski Lodge has additional seating and arcade games. Mountain Greens Golf Course was opened in the summer of 1976. A challenging 18-hole championship design provides golfers a true test of mountain golf. Breathtaking views of our mountainous terrain, foliage, and natural wildlife are sure to enhance each and every one of your golfing experiences. Over the last few years, Mountain Greens has endured two renovation projects. In 2003, the back nine was completely renovated and reopened in July of 2004. In 2006, the front nine was renovated.Mountain Greens Golf Course closes each winter season. All play is re-directed to Woodstone Meadows Golf Course during this time. Dates are subject to change due to inclement weather. Be sure to call in advance for more information. Woodstone Meadows Golf Course opened Spring 1998. It offers golfers a break from the typical mountain golf. The new layout provides an 18-hole, par 65 course consisting of nine par 3s, seven par 4s and two par 5s. The addition makes Woodstone a more diverse golf course catering to novice golfers while offering ample challenges for experts.Water ParkMassanutten WaterPark introduced surfing to the Shenandoah Valley by opening its own FlowRider attraction and christened it "The Pipeline." The Pipeline is the first and biggest FlowRider in Virginia. The Frog Pond is the perfect kiddie area - A pond with a maximum depth of 12 inches just for the younger ones! Take a ride down our own Frog slide. Ribbit-Ribbit! The Frog Pond also has swings and water-spraying noodles. Massanutten Meltdown - The central feature of the indoor WaterPark is a unique multi-story interactive water fortress with lots of fun for all ages. It has a bit of everything - from water cannons to water falls and don't forget the giant tipping bucket! There is no way to stay dry when you are standing near the over-turning bucket! After exploring all levels of excitement take a ride on one of five slides before everything melts down! Blue Ridge Rapids Let the current take you away. The adventure begins at the zero-depth entry while the waves keep coming at you. Once on your tube try to find a place to stay dry. Waterfalls and spray features will reach you from all angles and when you thought you had escaped the giant tipping bucket there will be one more right around the corner. Avalanche and Skyline Falls - Starting 39 feet up, either of these body slides will give you a rush to keep you coming back for more. You will experience over 250 feet of heart-pumping thrills with the slides' sudden drops and sharp turns.
