OIL AND GAS LEASE: The above described tract totaling 640 +/- acres is currently leased to Royal Production, Inc., the leaseholder. This Oil and Gas Lease has a status “held-by-production”. When an Oil and Gas Lease is held-by-production it means that oil and gas are being produced on the property. Billeaud Oil Unit #1: Billeaud Oil Unit #1 is made up of one (1) producing oil well. Your overridding royalty interest earns a monthly royalty income from the oil and gas production generated from all wells currently in this unit as well as all future wells added to this unit. We will them take the ORIGINAL copy of the Royalty Deed to the Lafayette Parish Clerk’s Office for filing and recording. This process is the conveyance process giving you legal ownership.
