OIL AND GAS LEASE: The above described tract totaling 640 +/- acres is currently leased to Royal Production, Inc., the leaseholder. This Oil and Gas Lease has a status “held-by-production”.  When an Oil and Gas Lease is held-by-production it means that oil and gas are being produced on the property.  Meaux Oil Unit #1:  Meaux Oil Unit #1 is made up of one (1) producing oil well.  Your overridding royalty interest earns a monthly royalty income from the oil and gas production generated from all wells currently in this unit as well as all future wells added to this unit. ROYALTY DEED TRANSER: Once we have processed your order and payment, we will overnight (FedEx) to you a copy of the Royalty Deed which we will sign on our end transferring title from our name to the name you provide us.  We will them take the ORIGINAL copy of the Royalty Deed to the Lafayette Parish Clerk’s Office for filing and recording.  This process is the conveyance process giving you legal ownership.  Once the ORIGINAL copy of the Royalty Deed has been recorded and filed for record with the County Clerk’s Office, we will mail it to you via Certified Mail.  We will also forward a copy of the recorded Royalty Deed to Royal Production, Inc. advising them of the new owners so they can begin sending the monthly royalty income checks directly to you.
